Just like someone else said , this, coupled up w/ a new carafe (I purchased from another seller), turned out to be “better” than the one that came originally with the Ninja Blender. I hesitated in purchasing a generic replacement, but what’s the alternative? THOUGH Be Sure to buy your new blade unit already “pre installed into a new gasket”, and not separately to just change out from the original/old gasket. Same price pre installed in new one! READ CLOSELY to what you are receiving. Then purchase a new carafe and do not use the dishwasher no matter what they say. I believe it started to deteriorate when using the dishwasher.

Was reluctant to order this because of some negative reviews, but I called Shark/Ninja to buy an original but they are no longer available. So, I bought this and I’ve been using for a month with no problems. In contrast to some of the reviews, it does not sound louder to me, does not leak, crushes ice fine, and the splines that drive the blade show no wear or cracks. I’ve been using it for making smoothies several times a week.

This part claimed to be compatible with the Ninja blender BL451-70. It screwed onto the blender OK, but it was slightly too big to fit into the base. I used some sandpaper to smooth out some ridges on the outside so that it would fit onto the machine satisfactorily. I wasn't thrilled about having to make the part fit correctly, but I figured that the problem was solved and the blender was functional. I don't use this blender very often, but eventually I noticed that liquid was leaking out whenever I did use it. The blade base had a big crack in the black plastic! A total failure and into the trash.I did eventually find a genuine Ninja brand part on eBay that fit perfectly and worked perfectly. It cost more than this supposedly compatible part, but at least it fits and it works!

I loved this replacement part when it got it! Fit my blender perfectly and worked great. Seemed like good quality despite some of the iffy reviews, although I did notice that the fins on the bottom were much softer and more rubbery than the original blade that came with my blender. It didn’t seem like a major concerns though, because it worked well for 9 months. The bottoms fins just broke today unfortunately :-/ For the price point, I am a little disappointed… wish I could’ve gotten at least a two years out of it. My original blade lasted me eight years.

Fits exactly as original, blends wonderfully, and cleans easily. Durable blade. I had broken a plastic piece on my original piece so had to buy a replacement

Si viene tal cual como venía el original cuando compre la ninja bullet y funciona correcto. Lo malo es que ese modelo de Ninja no es vendida por Ninja Mexico y por lo tanto es complicado conseguir la refacción en Mexico, por lo que si lo recomiendo compren este.

No se si me vino defectuoso, pero el original me duró 5 años y este se rompió de la parte que va hacia abajo (lo que se atora con el motor) al tercer uso. Esperaba más calidad

Terrible quality. I was cheap and bought this replacement after the original went dull. This item is incredibly loud, it's quite shocking. The construction is poorly crafted as water gets trapped in the ball bearings. As a result, a rusty watery goo develops after ever use. The fault is not my own as this item was NEVER submerged in water and was carefully hand washed. The issue is it is not properly sealed. Waste of money and downright dangerous to use.
