Mushatt's No. 9 Medicated Scalp Cream, Multicolor, 3.4 Ounce

Finally a product that seems to work! I've tried several other medications and shampoos with no success or significant changes. I'm so grateful to have found this! I use it in conjunction with a medicated shampoo (shampoo 2 to 3 times per week with this every day) and my scalp is less itchy and lots less flaky! The container has a wide opening, so you can get your finger/fingers in it, however, I transferred it to a bottle with a squeeze-type applicator so I can focus on specific areas (picture a bottle for applying hair color). I definitely recommend this.

This product works very well for itchy scalp. My mom needed something for her itchy scalp that drs couldn't diagnose but she deals with daily. We tried this (after MANY over the counter products), and this has been the only thing that has worked. It is oil based but hasn't left her hair "That" oily. Perfect for itchy scalp.

Treatment did not work for me.

My husband says this has really helped his itchy, flaky scalp...better than shampoo prescribed by dermatologist. He applies it at night and covers it with a plastic shower cap while he sleeps, then shampoos in the morning. He says his scalp feels "so much better."

I’ve had scalp psoriasis since I was a child and within the last couple months I started seeing patches on other parts of my body, so I’ve only used psoriasis shampoos to treat my psoriasis. I like this product because I color my hair and psoriasis shampoos tend to wash a lot of color with each use, so I can still have relief from my itchy scalp psoriasis and I found something to heal the patches all over my body and maintain my colored hair. I used this on psoriasis patches that were on my both elbows, a patch the size of a quarter on my thigh, a patch behind my ear, and one large patch on my scalp. After one use, the patches on my body were visibly smaller (the ones on my elbows were nearly gone), and I felt immediate itch relief from using it on my scalp. Each use after has only given me more relief and I can see and feel my psoriasis healing. I massage it in until it feels halfway absorbed and then I massage a bit of coconut oil on top of the patches on my body, because this product is a bit drying. I don’t use the coconut oil on my scalp, though, because I wash my hair every 4-7 days, so the oils that are produced keep my scalp from feeling dry.

The scalp cream has no effect and wont purchase again . i like the Skin ointment of the same brand and is very effective .

I am so excited about writing this review because I can't thank the makers of Mushatts No. 9 Psoriasis Scalp Cream enough for their product. A special thanks to Amazon for carrying it. Now back to the cream. From the moment I got the cream in the mail, I was anxious to get started using it. After washing my hair and applying the cream, it gave me immediate relief from the burning, itching and scaling. It did sting a little bit once it was applied, but I could feel it working through my scalp. I put the cream on once in the morning and once at night and I gottat tell ya, I am so very very happy.I can see the healing process happening right before my eyes and I can finally style my hair the way I want instead of just in a pony tail to cover the scaling. I have a clean clear scalp and it feels good. There is no horrendous smell, just a very light fragrance to the medicine. As many have said, not even a doctor's prescription was useful, and I remember paying big bucks for an ointment that a dermatologist gave that did absolutely nothing.So again, thank you Mushatts for such a great product, I got my life back and loving it.
