Elite Care Multi use Perching Stool - adjustable height with removeable armrests and padded seat and back

Instructions for assembly slightly confusing and supplied allan keys did not fit. Nonetheless, it was not too difficult or time consuming for one person to put together as long as they have suitable screw driver and tools. Once assembled, it is incredibly useful. I am recovering from a badly broken ankle and am still non weight bearing after 8 weeks. My kitchen is small but there is room for the perching stool and it means I can do some basic cooking and housework tasks that were impossible before I got it set up. It’s comfortable, I’m glad the seat and back is padded and the arms are detachable. It does take up quite a bit of space but it’s easy to move and very safe. I recommend this for anyone recovering from injury to enable them to be more independent. Invaluable purchase and good value.

The perching chair was great for my father, who at 6' tall and with arthritis in his hips and lower back was finding other chairs a bit low to just perch on in the bathroom. This one has adjustable height, and actually goes high enough for him.The seat and back rest are comfortably padded, the arms are sturdy enough to help you lift yourself back up and also handy so you don't accidentally topple off to one side.A nice wide base and rubber grips on the ends of each leg ensure the chair isn't going to slide out from under you.It's a sturdy metal frame, but also quite lightweight and easy to move around.Easy to assemble. Only gave 4 stars as the metal tubing for one leg was slightly damaged, and the plastic ring around it broken, and I had to bend the lip of the tube back out with pliers before I could slide the second part of the leg into it.

Assembly should have been very simple , 2 small bolts and 4 screws . Everything else is push in and click.However fitting the seat with the 4 screws became a problem ,after I had put 2 screws in. The other 2 screws wouldnt go in because the holes on the underside of the seat didnt line up with the holes in the metal frame. Its not wood inside the seat you are screwing in to , its a metal frame .I discovered that the seat was non returnable after I had dismantled it ,and packed it up in its box ,and the Amazon box. I Went on line to return it ,and it came up ' non returnable item'.I contacted customer service and eventually got to speak to a person ,who I was able to explain all of the above. He confirmed it was non returnable even though it was faulty, and never been used.He organised a refund , and said I could dispose or donate it to somwhere myself.I think this is so wasteful. It could have gone back and sorted out by the manufacturer.The chair itself is very sturdy and substantiial and nice to look at, but it is quite heavy . I am only small and found that I really didnt need the extensions to the legs at all. The white upholstery is harder than I thought it would be , but may soften with time. I wont be re ordering this particular design for my needs, but that isnt to say that it wont be suitable for someone else, we are all different.

Sturdy frame easy assembly looks good, fit for purpose.

Too large with no option of adjusting, poor design. weird legs position. Everything is wrong with this chair/stool. Did not return cos I had already got rid of the packaging as all the other stool I’ve bought/used in past have always been fantastic.

Width between feet too narrow! Does not feel secure!Seller will not correspond with the public!Cannot return it as I’ve thrown away the packaging, so it’s now dismantled and in the bin!Rubbish item. DO NOT BUY.

This is the 2nd chair we have now and find them very sturdy and useful in the kitchen or wherever it's needed. We did have 2 bolts missing which secure the seat to frame but after sending the company an email asking if the could send them or would we be OK sourcing our own. Quick to reply even though they don't normally deal with the public and apologised and arranged to send them. 2 days later we received the bolts. Can't grumble with dealings with the company.

Needed a perching stool for my spouse following a hip replacement. This kit is light enough for me to move easily and robust enough for her to feel safe on enabling her a degree of independence when washing at the sink. A good purchase which is aiding her in her recovery from surgery
