Caldura Digital 30 litre Silent Mini Fridge (Black)_AB

I've had two mini fridges before this one. Both were noisy and one became so bad I had to unplug it whenever I was in the room. I have very sensitive hearing so I feel confident when I say this really IS silent. I've had it in my bedroom for a year now and I've never heard even the suggestion of a fan noise. The back never gets more than lukewarm, and all the contents are kept at an even, fridge-cool temperature.If you look at the picture: I can fit 8 (1 litre) cartons of drink in the main part, with the shelf in that main section moved higher. That will still hold stuff (for me: sandwiches and fruit). Plus the higher of the shelves in the door for anything else. I had to take out the lower door shelf in order to get the cartons two deep, but it would fit with no problem if you wanted say 4 cartons in the main bit and some cans in the door.The top is completely flat; do some measuring and I'd suggest keeping the vents near the back clear, but it's sturdy if you wanted to use it as a bit of a surface too (and the door can hinge either way).This isn't cheap so make sure this is what you need, but I've been really impressed and it was exactly what I've been looking for. My house-mate is waiting for it to go on offer so she can grab one too.

Silent fridge is indeed silent. The only time I never hear it (and I can hear the none silent one on the floor below).The door open alarm is a useful feature. I which I'd ordered the next size up though.

Slightly smaller than hoped - but still holds a reasonable amount of drinks.Silent as promised.Seemed to take around 12 hours to get down to temperature and got very hot on top in the process (there are vents on top of this, so can't really put things on top of it, or install in an enclosed space).Door was easy enough to swap over to be hinged on the other side.

Perfect for a small fridge. First one was obviously a return and missing a leg, but exchanged with no hassle. Very helpful and new one is perfect!

Zero noise gets 5 stars. Otherwise it's a fridge - they keep things cool
