Go up one size from what you normally wear in Speedo brand
These fit great, and to address size:I normally wear MEDIUM size with Speedo (34" waist). I have other swimsuits from Speedo in medium (like the surf runner volley and marina core watershorts), and based on the reviews here, I ended up getting a LARGE, which was the totally correct decision. It is a snug but excellent fit on me. I would recommend going up a size for this item, even if you normally wear a medium for Speedo.

Faded Beyond Belief
These pants have faded to a very unflattering khaki color within 1 1/2 months of swimming 2 - 3 times a week. Would definitely not buy again. Would like to return but cannot find a way on the website. You can specifically see the fading from the outside to the inside above the tag.

Poor quality
Bought it for my dad who swims 4-5 days a week. The black color faded after a couple of weeks until it turned beige and after about 2 months of use, it ripped.

Too short
These 16" shorts were only 15" long. That'd be fine if they were sold as 15" shorts, but they were not.
