Beautiful! Dante is a master of introspection and the longing of the human heart for love, God, and the human destiny! A must read for everyone especially if you want to dig deeper into the meaning of love, loss, and the overall meaning of it.

This is the second translation of Dante's Vita Nuova I've read and was far better than the first! I would recommend reading the translators notes before starting, as Mark Musa is not only an expert at translation but the intricacies and depth of Dante's work.This is a great piece of literature- it tackles love, death, and the life of an artist. I would recommend it to absolutely anyone!

Quintessential Dante

This is the best translation by far, the quality of the text is exactly as described. The book is perfect for those that are new to reading Dante, the introduction sets the reader up for success in understanding the text. You will definitely enjoy the translations and I am glad to have replaced my worn out copy!
