The Giro Men's Terraduro HV Shoes bring all the comfort and durability of the standard Terraduro to those of us with wide feet who're looking for a shoe to tackle the trail in style. With a stiff, responsive outsole and walkable Vibram rubber grip, these shoes are the ideal choice for any terrain. The Terraduro features a robust nylon shank that transfers power to the pedals as an XC shoe should, with a Vibram rubber outsole boasting engineered flex in the forefoot to confidence-inspiring grip when side-stepping rocks and logs or during a 'cross run-up. Perforations in the upper and a breathable microfiber interior let air flow through to keep things cool, while Aegis treatment in the footbed fends off stink-producing bacteria. Giro also adds reinforcement at the toes to protect from the impacts and abrasions of trail life. The Terraduro HV's closure system consists of a middle hook-and-loop strap that snakes through a mid-foot D-ring for excellent adjustability in tandem with a ratcheting buckle on the top strap. The middle strap essentially turns the entire panel of inner fabric into an extension of itself, eliminating pressure on the metatarsal bones by pulling equally from a large swath of fabric on the inside of the foot. The bottom strap adjusts the fit around the toes independently of the other straps for a comfortable ride every time you clip in.

Very good quality. Sizing is one full size small length and width.
I really like that the outsole is all grippy Vibram. I have recently tried several other high-end MTB shoes which had very hard and slippery outsoles that made walking and pedaling without being clipped in very difficult. The Giro shoes are good for traction on pavement, dirt and rocks when walking is required. The central under arch area of the Terraduro can be used to pedal a few strokes before fully clipping in. Other shoes with hard outsoles are too slippery and my feet slip off the pedals when trying to pedal a few strokes away from a traffic stop before clipping in.Giro "HV" does NOT fit wide "E" width feet. "HV" fits normal "D" width feet. Length is one full size small. I compared multiple insoles from multiple brands of my previous shoes which fit my "D" 46 feet well. The Giro HV 46 was narrower and shorter than all of them. Giro sizing chart claims HV 46 is 29.5cm. Actual insole is 29cm which is supposed to be size 45.
